Brian practices in the areas of estate and gift planning, business succession planning, elder law, estate administration, real estate, general business and nonprofit law.
As a member of our Estates Practice Group, Brian has extensive experience representing families and individuals throughout the estate planning and business succession planning process, including "values-based" planning in the context of families and family-owned businesses.
Brian also has the privilege of working with seniors and their families in addressing the unique issues that they encounter as they reach their senior years, including long-term care planning, Medicaid eligibility and other benefits issues, family care-giving arrangements and incapacity issues.
Prior to joining our firm, Brian gained extensive experience in the long-term care field while serving as Vice-President at Brethren Village, a continuing care retirement community in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He is a frequent speaker to attorneys, other planning professionals, business owners and families in the areas of estate and business planning and legal issues effecting seniors and their families.
Brian and his wife, Laurie, have four children, Aaron, Daniel, Amanda and Adam (twins) and one golden retriever. They reside in the Lititz area. In his spare time, Brian enjoys spending time with his family (especially in Ocean City, New Jersey), running, backpacking and scuba diving.
